Dear Parents, We have begun an exciting new year. We see students who are willing and eager to learn many new things. We ask that you help us to keep the excitement going. Here are a few ways you can help us.First, find out how you can get involved in the SuccessMaker Laptop Computer Program. You can check out a computer for a week for your child to use at home. Your son or daughter can get extra help with reading and math. Contact our parent educator, LaToya Fisher, for more information. She can be reached at 735 - 3430 from 7:30AM until 2:00PM.Next, find out about the various parent workshops and activities that go on each month. Check your child's book bag for messages that are written in the agenda book. Check the book bag for flyers and announcements that are sent and listen for messages that come to you on the autodialer (phone message system). It is very important that you adhere to the school hours. Those hours are from 7:30 AM until 2:30 PM. Try to avoid taking your child out of school before 2:30 PM unless there is an emergency or you have an appointment that could not be scheduled at any other time.Finally, make certain that we have current information on file in the office regarding phone numbers and emergency contact people. It is extremely important that current information is available in the event that we must contact you for any reason. Remember, you are very important to your child's success. We ask that you support our efforts and encourage your child(ren). We are a team and we must work together.Thanks so much for all you do to help us as we work together to educate your child(ren).
